We believe having a Youth Board operating alongside our Board of Trustees will enrich the governance structure, spur innovation, promote youth empowerment and strengthen Youth Project NZ’s capacity to effectively serve young people and make a lasting impact on the community.
Representatives from the Youth Board will attend Youth Project NZ Board of Trustee Meetings to provide feedback from the Youth Board, ensuring the voices of local youth are heard.
Do you want to join us?
You will need to be between the ages of 13 and 19 and attending a college within the local community.
Monthly meetings will be held in the Botany area.
Our Youth Board will also be planning, organising and implementing community events with Youth Project NZ such as cleanups or fundraising for local charities.
